SBU Drones Hit Russian Oil Production In Caspian Sea For Third Time

The facility's critical equipment was damaged, and production processes came to a halt.

Long-range drones of the SBU's Alpha Special Operations Center hit oil production platforms of the Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft company operating in the Caspian Sea for the third time in the last week.

Sources told "Unian" in the special service that this time the platform at the Korchagin oil and gas condensate field was hit.

According to the interlocutor, as a result of the SBU drone attack, the critical equipment of the facility was damaged, production processes stopped.

- The SBU continues its active work, which reduces the flow of petrodollars to the Russian budget, and accordingly - and the ability to finance the war against Ukraine. No Russian facility working for the war is safe no matter where it is located," an informed source in the SBU said.
