The ex-political prisoner noted that it was useless for the prisoners.

Ex-political prisoner Viktor Babariko told about the meeting of political prisoners in the KGB detention center with Alexander Lukashenko in 2020, writes "Zerkalo".

"First, he [Lukashenko] did not come to me - he came to us, to everyone. It was not a very clear story for me. I always say that I don't really understand things when they wake you up, don't say anything, bring you somewhere and say, 'Well, now say something.' Well, say what? Give me at least 15 minutes. So I don't understand why it was all for," said Babariko.

The former political prisoner noted that the meeting was useless for the prisoners, except for the bathhouse, where they were taken to wash.

"In fact, it was the only benefit. But we were not the ones who organized this meeting, it would be a bit strange to refuse it, because we found out about it when we already saw it. I am grateful to see my son there, my friends, all those I had not seen. We were able to talk, we had two meetings, which is super. Everything else was not for us. Why the organizers arranged all this is not a question for me. For us, it was pointless, because we learned nothing: we talked about something, we were asked something, we asked something. So, to be honest, I don't know what for. Empty," said Viktor Babariko.
