They all need our support, care and attention today.

Editor-in-chief of Charter97.org Natallia Radzina commented on the release of 123 political prisoners freed by Lukashenko after talks with a US delegation today, December 13:

- Happy for the political prisoners released today, for Nobel laureate Ales Bialiatski, presidential candidate Viktor Babariko, Pavel Severinets, courageous Maria Kolesnikova, human rights activist Vlad Labkovich, lawyer Maksim Znak, journalist Marina Zolotova and all those who had to spend so many years in the torture conditions of Belarusian prisons.

All these people are heroes, and today they need support, care and attention. The price of their release does not matter. Nothing is more important than human life. And if the U.S. had to lift some sanctions against Lukashenko's regime to save people, it only confirms the rule that only with the help of sanctions it is possible to release political prisoners.
