A video of the new commander of the Russian private military company (PMC) "Wagner" Dmitri Podolsky with the call sign "Salem", who lost his arm and legs while "performing tasks" in the war against Ukraine, has appeared online. Footage of him was published on the Telegram channel of Russian propaganda outlet TASS.

The soldier said in the video that he had been recovering for eight months after suffering severe injuries in Ukraine.

Before that, the new commander of PMC Wagner, Dmitry Podolsky, became a security adviser to the ruler of the Central African Republic (CAR) Fosten-Arkange Touadera.
