Viktor Lukashenko Became His Father's Special Representative In Oman

Alexander Lukashenko flew to Oman on November 28 on a working visit, the first public meeting was reported on December 1. The dictator, along with his sons Viktor and Nikolai, met with the Sultan of Oman Haisam bin Tarek Al Said. The country's Foreign Ministry has named a previously unknown position for Lukashenko's eldest son, Zerkalo noted.
"From the Belarusian side, the meeting was attended by two sons of his excellency 'president': his excellency Viktor Lukashenko, special representative of the 'president' of the Republic of Belarus and president of the Olympic Committee, and Nikolai Lukashenko, as well as a number of Belarusian officials," the Omani Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The special envoy of Lukashenko was previously named Viktor Sheiman, who was responsible for cooperation with Africa, among other things.
The three representatives of the Lukashenko family discussed "areas of investment and economic partnership between the two friendly countries, as well as ways to intensify it in order to ensure common interests and promote the growth of the economies of Oman and Belarus."
On behalf of Oman at the meeting, in addition to the Sultan, was his son and Minister of Culture Sayyid Teyazin bin Haytham Al Sayyid, as well as the head of the personal chancery Hamad bin Sayyid Al Aufi and the head of the Investment Agency of Oman Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi.
Reminder, Alexander Lukashenko flew to Oman from Myanmar. Before that, he visited Kyrgyzstan.
