Trump Will Hold A Meeting On Venezuela

US President Donald Trump will hold a meeting in the Oval Office of the White House on Monday on further steps regarding Venezuela. This is reported by CNN, citing sources.

According to the channel, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Kaine, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and her deputy Steven Miller have been invited to the meeting.

A few days ago, Trump announced the closure of airspace over and around Venezuela to airlines, drug and human traffickers. The announcement came amid a U.S. military buildup in the Caribbean.

The Washington Post reported that U.S. warplanes are constantly patrolling areas around Venezuela. U.S. media have repeatedly said the United States could attack very soon.
