The Lukaszysts Have Swung Into A Dangerous Project

They want to build "the first Belarusian civilian airplane".

Belarus is going to produce its own civilian aircraft, said the head of Lukashenko's administration Dmitry Krutoy.

Naturally, it will be made in cooperation with Russia:

- There is a good contact with all the key aircraft factories of Russia and our 558th plant in Baranovichi, Minsk Civil Aviation Plant, and Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant.

The authorities want to produce it by 2029-2030.

It should be noted that the quality of aircrafts of the Russian aviation industry is questionable. In June 2025, the Superjet-100 airplane of Azimut Airlines lost the right engine cowl during takeoff at Vnukovo airport and began to fall apart.
