AFU Combat Robot Blasted A Russian MT-LB At Point-blank Range

The car was blown through.

A Ukrainian ground robotic complex (GRC) with an M2 Browning large-caliber machine gun destroyed a Russian MT-LB just a few meters away from Ukrainian fortifications.

The video of the event was published by the Telegram channel "Prufi Dnipra".

The episode took place during the NRC tests conducted by the 5th Independent Assault Brigade directly on the front line.

While moving, the drone operator noticed that an enemy armored vehicle was approaching the positions of Ukrainian defenders - a standard MT-LB, which Russia traditionally throws into assault attacks as a cheap expendable.

The MT-LB's armor could not withstand direct fire The MT-LB has extremely weak armor: only 14 mm in the frontal part and 7 mm on the sides.

This is not an obstacle for Browning 12.7 mm caliber - an armor-piercing bullet penetrates up to 20-25 mm of steel at a distance of up to 500 meters. Here, however, the battle was close, so the Russian soldiers had no chance.

The military estimates that there could have been casualties inside the armored vehicle: the robot literally pierced through the hull.

Robots are becoming the new weapon of the AFU

This case highlights the rapid growth in the use of ground-based robotic systems in warfare.

NRKs are increasingly used for evacuating the wounded, bringing ammunition, delivering food, and fighting.

In parallel, Ukraine is also developing strike versions - equipped with large-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers and other defeat systems.

Earlier, another NRC, the Droid TW 12.7, operated by operators of the NC13 Attack NRC Company from the 3rd Assault Brigade, held one of the infantry positions for a month and a half, completely replacing live fighters there.
