Lukashenko Suddenly Disappeared In Oman

The dictator "disappeared from the radar" immediately after arriving at the airport.

The unofficial Telegram channel of Alexander Lukashenko's press service reported his arrival in Muscat on November 28 at about 19:30 Minsk time (about 20:30 local time), but so far no additional information about the course of the "working visit" has appeared either in the Belarusian state media or in the Omani media, notes "Pozirk".

The report stated that the dictator was met at the airport by the president of the Omani Investment Agency Abdulsalam Al Murshidi. However, the resources of this agency do not mention this or Alexander Lukashenko's visit to the country as a whole.

There is no information about the arrival of the Belarusian dictator also on the websites of the Omani Foreign Ministry and the monarch's chancellery.

The key media outlets - Oman News Agency, Al Watan, Oman, Times of Oman, Oman Daily Observer, Muscat Daily, Oman Tribune - have no information about Lukashenko's activity in Oman or at least record his stay in the country.

Lukashenko's press service issued only three messages on November 29 - congratulations to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, and condolences: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto for the many casualties caused by heavy rains and landslides in Sumatra, and to King Mah Wachiralongkorn of Thailand for flood victims.

Lukashenko flew to Oman from Myanmar, where he arrived for a two-day official visit on November 27 - immediately after the Collective Security Treaty Organization summit in Kyrgyzstan. It was reported that further he intends to visit the Middle East and North Africa.
