Russian Economist Reveals What Putin Is Hiding

The Russian economy is half a step away from recession.

Russian economist Oleg Sukharev made a candid confession live on propaganda radio Komsomolskaya Pravda. He warned Russians that the country's economy is half a step away from recession, writes "Dialog".

"The situation in the economy is not good. And they are hiding it for some reason... Apparently, in order not to stir up the population, not to lead to apathy. Political and psychological motives are present," Sukharev explained.

He cited specific figures from official reports: during the year, some industries have lost from 10 to 20 percent of production. Metallurgy, agricultural and general machine-building industries are particularly hard hit.

"We even have a minus in September 2025 compared to September 2024, and the minus is tangible: minus 10, 15, and in some sectors minus 20% even," the expert stressed.

He warned that in 2026 the situation will worsen.

"In 2026 there will be a full recession! The budget can no longer pull out anything," Sukharev warned.
