Ukraine Commented On Sabotage On Polish Railroad

The Russian GRU could be behind it.

The incident that took place on the Polish railroad between Warsaw and Lublin is a typical sabotage activity, for which the military unit 29155 of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces is responsible in Russia.

This was stated on Monday, November 17, announced the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andrey Kovalenko, commenting on the explosion that damaged part of the track.

"This is a subversive unit of the Russian GRU (Main Intelligence Directorate - ed.), responsible for carrying out operations abroad. NATO countries are one of the priority targets," Kovalenko explained.

He stressed that this is especially true of anything related to helping Ukraine or strengthening the defense capabilities of NATO member states.

"Various arson attacks in Germany, Poland, other countries - this is the work of the Russians disguised as different kinds of situations. Ordinary sabotage," - Kovalenko expressed confidence.

We recall that in Poland, an act of sabotage took place on the railway line Warsaw - Lublin near the village of Mika an explosive device detonated and destroyed the railroad bed. This information was announced by the country's Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
