Ukraine Has Found Another Gas Supplier For This Winter

Kiev has reached an agreement with Greece.

Ukraine has prepared an agreement to import gas from Greece to compensate for the loss of Ukrainian production for the winter period due to Russian strikes, President Vladimir Zelensky has said.

"This will be another gas supply route to maximize the security of gas import routes for Ukraine for the winter. We already have agreements on financing gas imports, and we will cover the need of almost €2 billion," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Financial assistance in this is provided by Ukraine's European partners and European banks under the guarantee of the European Commission. Zelensky separately noted Norway's support and mentioned "active work with American partners" to obtain full financing.
