Victims Of The Explosion At Belaruskali Were Transported To The Burn Center In Minsk

In the evening on October 31, medical consultations on the treatment tactics of four victims of the explosion of hydrochloric acid tank at Belaruskali were held in Salihorsk central district hospital.

After assessing the complicated condition of the patients - a young woman and three men - all the victims were decided to be transferred to Minsk for treatment.

Before transportation, two patients underwent necessary surgeries, then all four of them were transported in reanimobiles escorted by traffic police to the Republican Burn Center and the neuroreanimation department of the Minsk City Clinical Emergency Hospital.

The Ministry of Health reports that the condition of the victims is being monitored by doctors of the highest qualification.

Reminder, an empty tank of hydrochloric acid ruptured at the industrial site of the 4th ore department of Belaruskali . According to preliminary information, 4 people were injured, and there was also damage to a neighboring tank with hydrochloric acid. The victims with chemical burns and combined injuries are in Soligorsk central district hospital.

The administration of Belaruskali stated that Soligorsk does not fall into the zone of chemical contamination when hydrochloric acid was released at Belaruskali.
