Ukrainian Special Forces Destroyed A Russian Grad Missile Ship With Kalibras

The operation was conducted in Lake Onega.

Ukraine's Special Operations Forces have revealed details of the operation to defeat the Russian small missile ship "Grad" in Karelia.

The press service of the SDF noted that the operation took place at 04:31 on October 4 in Lake Onega. The special forces struck the small missile ship of Project 21631 "Buyan-M" (board number 575) as it was heading from the Baltic Sea to the Caspian Sea.

The impact hit the right side of the propulsion system compartment, causing serious damage to the vessel. Additional details are still being finalized.

The Grad is one of Russia's newest ships. It was commissioned into the Baltic Fleet on December 29, 2022. The main armament of the ship is the Kalibr-NK missile system, which is used for strikes against Ukraine.
