ISW: The AFU Made A Breakthrough On The Front

The Ukrainian military went on the counterattack and repulsed the positions.
The occupation troops of the aggressor country Russia continue to attempt an offensive in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. But even despite the difficult situation on the front, the Ukrainian military manages to counterattack and recapture lost positions.
This was reported by analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW). According to their data, both armies have an advance in two key areas of the front.
Where the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to recapture territory
The Ukrainian defense forces have advanced in the Pokrovsky direction. This is evidenced by geolocation footage from October 2, which shows the Ukrainian military breaking through to the northern outskirts of Lysovka, which is southeast of Pokrovsk.
Frames from October 3 confirm that the Ukrainian military is holding positions, or has already advanced in southern Pokrovsk in areas that the Russians previously claimed were supposedly under their control.
The AFU has also had success in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The defense forces, according to footage from October 3, have recaptured the settlements of Sosnovka and Verbovo, which are located southeast of Velikomikhailovka.
What successes the occupants have recorded analysts
Geolocation footage from October 3 shows the occupants advancing in the north of Kharkiv region. In particular, the enemy advanced along the Southern Railway in the western part of Volchansk and seized the local railroad station.
The Russians also advanced to the eastern part of Ivanovka, southwest of Novopavlivka.
The AFU's success in Dnipropetrovsk region may be larger
Glavred wrote that according to the DeepState project, Ukrainian defenders in September carried out a sweep of four, not two, settlements in Dnipropetrovsk region at once. We are talking about Sosnovka, Khoroshy, Novoselovka and Yansvarskoye.
The soldiers of the 3rd Assault Battalion of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment cleared 3 villages in Dnipropetrovsk region at once, another village was cleared by the 141st Separate Mechanized Brigade.
