Russia Claims That HIMARS Hit The Belgorod Reservoir

There is damage as a result of the blows.

Russia claims that the AFU allegedly attacked the dam of the Belgorod reservoir with HIMARS missiles. As a result of the strikes there is damage.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Russian Telegram MNS publick.

"According to our information, the hydraulic structure was attacked by three HIMARS rockets," the report says.

It added that the incoming attack damaged several buildings with technical equipment, lifting mechanisms of one of the release sluices and the crest of the dam.

At the same time, it said that after the examination of the hydraulic engineering facility it was found that the integrity of the dam of the Belgorod reservoir was not broken.

"There is no threat of flooding to the nearest settlements," the publick added.

The MNS also claims that two people were allegedly injured because of the attack. One of them is a Rosguard officer.
