Trump Said Ukraine Wants To Go On The Offensive On The Frontline

About this the President of the United States will talk with Zelensky in the White House.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he plans to discuss Ukraine's intention to launch an offensive on the frontline during a conversation with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on Friday, October 17.

He said this on Wednesday, October 15, during a White House press conference with FBI Director Kash Patel.

"We will talk... They want to go on the offensive. I'll make a decision on that, but they want to go on the offensive and we're going to have to make a decision, you know?" the U.S. president said.

He also emphasized that the only thing the United States demands from Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is that he stop killing Ukrainians and Russians.

"And all we want from President Putin is that he stop this: stop killing Ukrainians and stop killing Russians, because he's killing a lot of Russians. It doesn't add to his credibility. This is a war that he was supposed to win in a week, and now it's going on for the fourth year," Trump said.

On October 14, Axios reported that US President Donald Trump will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House on October 17 - they will discuss the possible delivery of Tomahawk missiles.
