"A certain contingent is kept in Kursk region, training activities are conducted with them. They are posing that they are supposedly engineering units that have come in to carry out demining activities," Gnatov said.
He added that the Russians are not using North Koreans on the front line. Neither are they involved directly in combat operations yet.
"But there are contingents. North Korean workers are also engaged to manufacture military goods, in particular Geranium drones, which are manufactured in Tatarstan, in Elabuga. According to the data that need to be clarified, but there was information that about 20 thousand North Korean workers are involved. So this is also participation in the conflict," Gnatov added.
