Ukrainian Agrarians Put Lukashenka In His place

This is the case when a collective farm “paradise” turns out to be worse than war.

Remember how in early November 2024, a frequent guest of propaganda “shows” and part-time candidate of economic sciences Georgy Grits cynically compared Ukraine and Belarus? Like, “we sow fields with grain, and they do with mines”.

This is exactly the case when it would be better to remain silent. Which was eloquently confirmed by the news from the Ukrainian fields. According to the results of 2024, Ukraine reached the pre-war period of exports.

And not only did it reach it, but it also set a second sovereign record for this indicator, earning $24.5 billion from the sale of agricultural products.

Of course, a lot can be attributed to the fact that Ukraine has a more favorable climate and more fertile lands. That the Ukrainians are now being helped by the whole world — the civilized ones, at least.

But the fact remains: we are talking about a country that has been raging for the third year in a bloody massacre, the likes of which Europe has not seen since World War II.

One can practice cynical comparisons of fields sawn with mines and wheat, but it is Ukraine that is the largest mined territory in the world, surpassing Syria and Afghanistan, not by its own will.

And what do we see in Belarus? A country that has been famous for potato growing for many years is losing its position in this industry. The death of cattle and calves amounts to hundreds of thousands. Belarusian agricultural organizations are drowning in debt, as a result of which farmers may be left without feed.

Paradoxically, but it is a fact: the system built by Lukashenka has turned out to be more destructive than a full-fledged war.
