The Z-propaganda is panicking following new US sanctions.
Russian propagandists are sounding the alarm after new US sanctions against Russia's oil and gas sector. Z-channel presenters and authors admit that Russia is facing serious economic problems caused by the war and its consequences for raw materials exports, Dialogue writes.
The US administration has announced sanctions that cover major companies operating in the oil and gas sector and more than 180 ships carrying Russian oil. As a result, Russian crude exports are facing serious restrictions, especially in the markets of China and India. These measures are already being called a ‘colossal blow’ to Russia's budget.
Propagandist Zhivov, who supports the Kremlin's actions, does not hide his disappointment. He writes on his channel:
‘The US plan is to make energy exports as hard as possible. The disruption of supplies will lead to a shortfall in budget revenues and a shortage of currency. This will inevitably hit the ruble, cause inflation and serious difficulties in the economy.’
In one of the messages, Zhivov openly admits:
‘The sanctions of the US and elected President Trump only strengthen the West's stance against Russia.’ According to him, this is exactly what the plan of forcing Russia into peace looks like. And Ukraine has hit the same target by shutting down gas transit for Russia.’
The propagandist admits that ‘drying up exports’ is causing serious problems for the ruble and inflation, with budget deficits leading to economic instability. The current war policy is ‘dragging Russia to the bottom,’ but no one in the Russian Federation can answer why the country is paying such a high price for destroyed territories like Toretsk or Vuhledar.
There is growing discontent in Russian society. However, the majority continues to support the war, despite the obvious economic problems and the growing price that is being paid for it.
