The Ukrainian president had a ‘very substantive and long’ conversation with the politicians.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on X on September 11 that he had a ‘very substantive and long’ conversation with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and British Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
‘All the key issues were discussed. It is important that Ukrainian arguments are heard. This applies to long-range weapons, the provision of combat brigades at the front, and the overall strategy for bringing a just peace closer,’ the president wrote.
According to Zelensky, special attention was paid to preparing the second peace summit and relevant steps that will make it effective.
