According to the Russian official, the region's air defence forces are working in the region and continue to ‘repel an attempted massive attack with the use of UAVs’ on the territory of the region.
‘The air defence forces of the Russian Ministry of Defence are working to identify and destroy aerial targets,’ the local governor wrote on his Telegram.
It should be noted that before this, on Monday evening, he said that an ‘attempt’ of a drone attack on the territory of Bryansk region had been ‘foiled’ and three aircraft-type drones had allegedly been destroyed.
‘There are no casualties or destruction. Operational and emergency services are working on the spot,’ he wrote at 22:39 the night before.
However, after midnight, Bryansk public pages again started to report about a new air attack. In addition, footage of explosions due to a drone strike was released online. It is also reported about the explosion of one UAV near the Rosneft petrol station, but the exact location is not specified.
