Belarusian Volunteer Dzmitry Rubasheuski Was Posthumously Awarded The Order Of The Hero's Cross

Previously, the Belarusian received awards from Zelensky and Zaluzhny.

Belarusian volunteer Dzmitry Rubasheuski was posthumously awarded the Order of the Hero's Cross, the Telegram channel of the Vilna Bilorus charity foundation writes about this.

The order was solemnly presented to the volunteer’s family – his wife and daughter. The award ceremony took place in the Garrison Church of Lviv.

Dzmitry Rubasheuski died on April 12, 2022 during fighting in the Luhansk region. He was part of a company tactical group that made forays into the rear of the Russian army.

Dzmitry was born in Brest and became a volunteer in 2015. He received the public award “People’s Hero of Ukraine” for the defense of the Butivka mine in the Donetsk region, and posthumously received the “For Courage” Order from Volodymir Zelensky. The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valery Zaluzhny, posthumously awarded him the Horobrich Cross.
