Russia is sinking into the abyss.

The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for former Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and the still-Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov on charges of attacks on civilian targets and civilians in Ukraine.

The list of war criminals wanted by the ICC is expanding.

In addition, the ECHR found Russia guilty in Ukraine's lawsuit on violations of the European Convention on Human Rights in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

In particular, Russia was accused of systematically persecuting Ukrainians for their political position or pro-Ukrainian activities on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea since its seizure in 2014, or in the Russian Federation.

Russia has never sunk so deep into the legal bottom. Even during the Soviet era, when no less monstrous crimes were committed by the Soviet government, and the West was more decisive, such weighty conclusions and accusations were not made.

A striking example of the abyss into which Russia is sinking under Putin and this sinking continues.
