Two Minsk Schoolgirls Recorded Video Of Themselves Drinking ‘Strong Beverage’

A video of two students from one of the Minsk educational institutions drinking what the Ministry of Internal Affairs claims is a “strong beverage” has gone viral on social media. The girls' identities have been established and an investigation has been ordered.

Two schoolgirls appeared in the published video. One of them was holding a bottle of clear liquid in her hand, taking a few sips and laughing. When the video went viral, it attracted the attention of police.

“The identities of the girls were established — they turned out to be students of a Minsk school: 13 and 14 years old,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

An investigation was ordered with regard to the students. In addition, the police gathered school students for a “preventive conversation”, where they “clearly explained the consequences of using alcohol, tobacco and electronic smoking devices”, as well as “about responsibility for illegal behavior”.
