The Polish politician has called for the immediate release of political prisoner Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk.
Polish MEP Andrzej Halicki met with Natallia Radina, editor-in-chief of the Charter97.org website, human rights activist and former political prisoner Leanid Sudalenka and activist of the European Belarus civil campaign Andrei Sharenda in Brussels.
The Polish politician called for the immediate release of political prisoner, activist of the European Belarus Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk.
The politician wrote about it on X (Twitter).

"For four years already the Lukashenka regime has been illegally keeping Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk behind bars. The scandalous punishment is due to end in a month (21 May).
Her family has learnt that the regime wants to extend this punishment without grounds or judgement. It cannot continue this way! We remind and we will continue to remind about Polina and other political prisoners!" Andrzej Halicki wrote.
We remind you that these days Charter97.org editor-in-chief Natallia Radzina, human rights activist, former political prisoner Leanid Sudalenka and activist of the European Belarus civil campaign, husband of political prisoner Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk, Andrei Sharenda are visiting Brussels, where they are participating in an official meeting of the European Parliament Delegation for Relations with Belarus and discussing the situation with political prisoners.
