A-50 Destruction: Plane Itself Lured Ukrainian Missile

A video filmed at the moment of defeat has been published.

The Ukrainian military shot down another Russian long-range radar detection aircraft A-50U. It turned out that the plane was shooting at decoys, one of which lured a Ukrainian missile.

This is evidenced by video footage that was published online, Channel 24 reports.

The video of the plane being shot down shows how it shoots off IRCMs and, possibly, radiolocation countermeasures, one of which attracts the first missile, and then the second destroys the plane.

Thus, the A-50 crew knew that missiles were coming at them and shooting down the plane meant the elimination of not only five pilots, but also 10 - 11 radar operators.
