New Tariffs For Appointments With Private Doctors Set In Belarus

They will come into effect on February 1, 2025.
Belarus has set maximum tariffs for paid medical services for appointments and consultations with specialist doctors. This is provided for by the Ministry of Health Resolution #156 of November 16, which was officially published on Tuesday on the National Legal Internet Portal.
Thus, the maximum tariff for an initial appointment with a doctor of the second qualification category is set at 35 rubles, for an appointment with a doctor of the first category the tariff is slightly higher — 37 rubles, and for the highest category — 41 rubles.
The initial appointment with a specialist doctor, candidate of medical sciences can now cost no more than 45 rubles, and a doctor of medical sciences, as well as an associate professor and candidate of medical sciences — 47 rubles.
The maximum tariff for an appointment with a professor and doctor of medical sciences is set at 52 rubles, a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and doctor of medical sciences — 56 rubles, and an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and doctor of medical sciences — 57 rubles.
The maximum tariffs for a repeat appointment with these doctors have also been determined — they are significantly lower.
As for the tariffs for consultations with specialist doctors with a qualification category, they start from 42 rubles and reach 49 rubles and depend on the category of the doctor.
The cost of a consultation with a doctor with an academic degree, academic title and academic honors is 65-85 rubles and also depends on the title and degree of the specialist receiving patients.
At the same time, the document states that the maximum tariffs do not apply to appointments and consultations with specialist doctors in the dental profile.
The tariffs will come into effect from the moment the resolution comes into force, that is, from February 1, 2025.
