His entire debt fate depends on Russia.
A reader of the Charter97.org website has collected all the signs of Lukashenka's regime's dependence on Russia in one text:
"Now it is total. It is not just that dependence on Russia as a sales market has increased.
Until 2020, the supply formula was 30/30/30: Europe/Russia/rest of the world. Now, the volumes on the Russian market are about 70%. Almost all raw material imports, including traditional energy dependence, come from Russia. All exports that do not go to Russia still go through Russian ports.
Tax administration is regulated by Russian rules using Russian software. This access allows you to remove all information about economic processes and, if desired, influence them.
The scale of dependence on public debt has increased. Russia is now the dominant creditor in the debt portfolio. After Belarus was assigned default status, the chances of getting money from someone else are zero. The entire 'debt' fate depends on Russia."
