‘Kadyrovtsy’ are the Rosgvardiya after all.
On the night of December 12, explosions were heard in Grozny. A drone attacked the territory of the special police regiment named after Akhmat Kadyrov.
In a daily report for Channel 24, military expert, flight instructor and colonel of the AFU in reserve Roman Svitan assessed the attack in Grozny.
The military expert noted that the Kadyrovtsy are still the Rosgvardiya, and they are considered to be Kadyrov's internal troops. That is why local forces can also be working against them.
‘The question is who did it. I don't rule out the possibility that it was our drones. However, then the question is why they did not hit the refinery,’ Roman Svitan noted.
‘There is also the possibility that this is the work of the internal resistance, which is now raising its head in the north of the Caucasus. Russian special services have just recently been trying to stop this internal movement,’ the military expert said.
