It is planned to act quickly.
Resolving the situation with the Russia-Ukraine war will be a top foreign policy priority for US President-elect Donald Trump after he takes office on January 20. Trump plans to act quickly, RBC-Ukraine reports with a reference to his interview with Paris Match.
He said “I believe it is necessary to resolve the Ukrainian issue with Russia.”
The interview was recorded during Trump's visit to France on November 7 and made public on November 11.
“Both countries are losing an unbelievable number of soldiers, with hundreds of thousands dying,” said Trump, answering the question about the top priority on the international arena.
According to him, the Middle East is also a bigger priority, but “it's a less complicated situation than Ukraine and Russia.”
“But both situations needed to be resolved quickly due to the significant loss of life,” he added.
