According to the Latvian law on road traffic, from November 1, 2024, the presence of cars with Belarusian number plates on the territory of Latvia is illegal.

According to the Latvian Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD), 45 passenger cars, previously travelling on Belarusian plates, have been re-registered in this country since the beginning of the year.
