Two major developers are going bankrupt in Minsk. One of them handled a large residential complex, and the other — commercial properties, writes Zerkalo.
One of the companies going bankrupt is Zapadinveststroy, according to the data of the unified state register of bankruptcy information. It is known for being a contractor in the construction of the Minsk World residential complex.
Dana Astra (this company is owned by Serbian businessmen, the Karić brothers, its managers were recently detained by security forces) filed a bankruptcy petition with the court, to which the company owed almost 180 thousand rubles. The company is owned by Radziwon Vahanau, who, apparently, does not live in Belarus. It is unknown who runs the company in the country.
During the hearing on October 23, the judge ruled to open a bankruptcy case and introduce a protective period until November 21.
The second developer is GlavIndustriyaStroy. In this case, the company itself filed for bankruptcy. On October 16, the Minsk Economic Court ruled to open bankruptcy proceedings.
The company is owned by Illia Shylkou, who decided to liquidate it. During the process, it turned out that the company owes creditors 3.2 million rubles, and there is no sufficient property to cover such an amount.
This is a large developer of commercial real estate, which has built more than one shopping center. For example, the Greentime shopping center in Minsk.
