‘Russians Seem Seriously Scared’
ROMAN SVITAN

What is known about the defeat of the 67th GRAU arsenal in the Bryansk region.

Retired Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, pilot-instructor Roman Svitan commented on the permission to strike the territory of the Russian Federation with long-range weapons on the air of Radio NV and whether the Armed Forces of Ukraine could have already struck the 67th GRAU arsenal in the Bryansk region with ATACMS missiles on November 19:

— Today, Russian publics began to spread information that the strike on the 67th GRAU warehouse, which was carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, was already carried out using ATACMS. Moreover, [there is] video confirmation, we can talk about at least a jet approach of the missile. And this is a little more than 100 kilometers from our border, however, not Kursk, but Bryansk region (there was information that permission was given to strike only Kursk region —edit.)

The 67th GRAU warehouse houses [Korean ballistic missiles] KN-23, presumably plus Iranian missiles. [This is] a Russian strategic warehouse of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate. Russia also uses [it] as a so-called transit warehouse. That is, unloading from trains and loading onto smaller vehicles takes place. Naturally, as soon as our intelligence determines that there is a sufficient quantity of ammunition on the surface, the weapon goes there. Before that, we struck with drones.

Now the Russians are already talking with frightened eyes about the fact that ATACMS went to the Bryansk region, why not to Kursk? They even have this gradation: it was allowed to strike Kursk, but ATACMS went to the Bryansk region.

But again, there is no real confirmation yet. Although the Russians are quite scared about the adoption of this decision (to strike at the territory of the Russian Federation — edit.). It has most likely been made. Because too many high-level officials have confirmed it, starting from [EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs] Josep Borrell and ending with some, including American, representatives.

That's why I think we will see these missiles in action soon. It would be better, of course, the other way around: first the missiles in action while the Russians were sleeping, and then confirmation. But sometimes a so-called false start happens. Of course, it was in vain that they leaked this information, but we will work with what we have.

We need to understand: is this only the Kursk region or will it be determined purely by the range of the weapons?

And again, what missiles? There are ATACMSs with a range of 150 kilometers and 300 kilometers, with different warheads. There is also a cluster warhead for the M39, M39A1 missile, high-explosive fragmentation. These are the questions.

At this stage, I think we just need to wait. I believe by the end of this week it will be clear how many missiles and for what targets we will use.
