Russia’s Price For North Korea's Invitation In War: Seoul Specifies

North Korea will expect a "generous payment" from Moscow.

Russia may "pay" North Korea for the participation of its military in the war against Ukraine with nuclear weapons technologies. The Permanent Representative of South Korea stated this to the UN, Jonkook Hwang.

According to him, North Korea will expect a "generous payment from Moscow" for the participation of its units in the war, Ukrinform reports.

"We may be talking about both financial and military assistance. This may also include technologies related to nuclear weapons," Hwang said, speaking at the UN Security Council.

The representative of South Korea to the UN believes that North Korea will likely soon become an "active participant" in Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.

Hwang called on Russia to immediately withdraw all its troops from Ukraine and recalled that lasting peace in Ukraine is possible only under the UN Charter and international law.
