Video Fact: Journalists Shelled By Russian Federation While Filming

The shell exploded at a distance of 3 metres.

The film crew of the Donbass Realities project came under fire while filming the military in the Bakhmut direction in Donetsk region. The corresponding video was published on the You-Tube channel of the project.

As noted by journalists, the first shell fell near the war correspondent Roman Pagulich and the fighters with whom he was talking.

‘As a result, Roman Pagulich suffered a contusion, two fighters - light wounds. The shrapnel did not hit the cameraman Pavel Kholodov. All the injured were taken to the stabilisation point, where they were given first aid,’ the report says.

The video shows a Russian shell falling near the Ukrainian military and journalists. It is said in the piece that the munition exploded at a distance of three metres from the film crew.

The journalists also showed how the victims are provided with first aid immediately after the explosion, after which the wounded are evacuated to a stabilisation point.

‘Now there is no threat to the lives of the wounded fighters and members of the film crew,’ Donbass Realities noted.
