On the night of October 22, explosions were heard in Efremov in Tula region of the Russian Federation. The town was attacked by drones, after which there was a fire.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Russian Telegram channels.

According to locals, at least two explosions were heard at 02:10 and 02:15. Russians claim that the town was attacked by drones. After that, a fire broke out near the Efremov synthetic rubber plant.

At the same time, some Telegram channels wrote that drones could have fallen near the local thermal power plant as well.

Dmitry Milyaev, the governor of Russia's Tula region, confirmed the drone attack and said that air defence forces allegedly ‘suppressed’ it.

At the same time, he reports that the premises of the Efremov distillery and another distillery in the village of Luzhkovsky in Suvorov district were affected.

‘According to preliminary information there are no casualties. Specialists of the emergency services are working at the scene. The situation is under control,’ he added.
