Who could have used this plane?
The downing of the enemy Tu-134 means that there is no longer a single place on the territory of the Russian Federation where Russians can feel safe.
The president of the Ukrainian Association of Pilots Hennady Khazan said this on air at Kyiv24, answering a question about the significance of the downing of the Tu-134 on Russian territory.
He noted that the operation to destroy the plane was very high-quality. “And what it means for the Russian Federation — such a small thing that there is no longer a single place on the territory of the Russian Federation, in particular at the airports of this country, where Russians can feel safe. There is no such thing anymore and there will not be in the future,” the expert said.
Khazan added that most likely this plane was used by the armed forces of the aggressor country. “What exactly it did, what modification it was — they will definitely write about it, we will not invent anything. And why did it burn down — because it was not to fly any more for the benefit of and not to be used any more for the benefit of the armed forces of the Russian Federation,” he noted.
Thus, the expert emphasized, now the Russians will not feel safe “even, as they thought, in such a deep rear, at such a distance from the front line”. In addition, when asked who could use this plane, Khazan noted that these were military officials or certain “interesting” personnel who would need to be moved quickly and unnoticed:
“Now another unit that could do this is gone.”
