In the coming days, several streets in the centre of Minsk, including a section of Independence Avenue, will be blocked due to road works, reported the traffic police and showed the bypass scheme.

The section of Independence Avenue from Sverdlov Street to Yanka Kupala Street will be covered with new asphalt, and transport will not be allowed there. The restriction applies from 22.00 September 29 to 15.00 September 30 and from 5.00 to 12.00 on October 1.

It will be possible to bypass the blocked area via Yanka Kupala, Sverdlov and Niamiha streets.

In addition, from 7.00 to 11.00 a.m. September 30 and from 15.00 September 30 to 00.00 October 1, traffic will be blocked along Lenin Street from Independence Avenue to Internatsyjanalnaya Street.

Bypass routes - along Kirov Street, Niamiha Street and Yanka Kupala Street.

And the asphalt in Zaparozhskaya Street in Partizansky district will be changed for a month - from September 30 to October 31. All this time there will be a lane restriction of traffic.
