Exports Of Belarus' Hi-Tech Park Falls For First Time In History

By half a billion dollars.

HTP has updated the information about exports, new jobs, production and sales for 2022. Devby.io looked at the key figures and compared them to 2021.

HTP residents' exports totalled $2.7 billion last year. That's $500 million or 15 per cent less than in 2021.

The drop in exports compared to the previous year occurred for the first time in HTP's history. At the same time, Park corrected the information voiced in the spring on the state ONT channel. We remind, at that time, another figure for HTP exports for 2022 - $2.5 billion - was announced on the air.

The share of HTP in the total export of services in Belarus remained at 30% at the end of last year.

The HTP foreign trade balance (the difference between exports and imports) decreased against the background of falling exports. In 2021 - $2.8 billion, in 2022 - $2.4 billion, or 16% less.
