'Russian Generals' Heads To Be Cut Off'

The trap set for Russian troops by Prigozhin is slamming shut.

The loss of Bakhmut is unlikely to mean anything for Putin himself, it is more of a fetish for the Ministry of Defence.

Such an opinion expressed in an exclusive interview with TSN military expert, colonel of the AFU reserve Roman Svitan.

"It was Prigozhin who once drove Bakhmut into the information trap. That is, he was taking Bakhmut, a whole year was describing it on the information feeds, he was moving towards Bakhmut for a year, marched 30 kilometres, killed tens of thousands of Russian soldiers," said the expert.

"In the end, he himself fled from there and this problem was hung on the neck of Shoigu and the Ministry of Defence as a whole. Therefore, the Ministry of Defence will mainly have reputational losses after the liberation of Bakhmut and the flight of the Russian army," he said.

"And this could even be a kind of plus for Putin, on the one hand. Because it will not hit him hard. And the heads of the Russian generals can, of course, be cut off," summarised Svitan.

We remind you that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu to halt the AFU counter-offensive and return the initiative on the front to Russian troops.
