Intercepts have been received that the occupants are going to lay down weapons and body armour.
Riots are brewing in the ranks of the Russian occupation army amid lack of payments, rotations and victories at the front. In addition, the command treats soldiers like cattle.
Ilya Yevlash, the head of the press service of the AFU Eastern group of troops, said on air of the FREEDOM TV channel. He emphasised that such sentiments will intensify with the arrival of winter.
"We record intercepts about riots that are already brewing in the Russian troops, their compounds. They have been promised there that they will come for a short time, for a couple of months, short contracts. However, their leadership tells them that that's it - there will be no rotations, you will see your relatives only after the "victory", which is very amorphous and it is unclear when it will come. Therefore, these mobilised, soon it will be a year after their announced large mobilisation, they are already beginning to resent," he said.
In addition, intercepts are being recorded that the occupiers are going to lay down their weapons and body armour, and eventually refuse to carry out orders. According to Yevlash, the Russians are "seeing things clearer" in the trenches.
"Especially with winter on the horizon. And when everything will intensify, and logistics will be heavy. What we even register on prisoners, that we publish almost daily on the Telegram-channel of Army Commander Syrsky, there you can listen to very interesting things, that even the fighters of the so-called "Storm-Z", "convicts" are given a liter and a half of water for their team, for 2-3 people. But when winter comes and you can't find any fodder, when it gets cold, you can't sleep just outside under a bush, let's say, then everything will become very sad, and these moods will be multiplied by two or even three," Yevlash emphasised.
At the same time, he reminded that Abrams tanks and other equipment will be delivered to the Ukrainian troops. Then the situation for the occupiers in Ukraine will become even more difficult.
"So we will see then how events will develop, but our main task is to defend our country and inflict maximum damage to all the occupants who are here," the representative of the Eastern group of troops added.
