India Enjoys Space Victory Over Russian Federation

The photos of the back side of the moon where the Russian station crashed have been released.

Following the news of the failure of the Russian space programme, India's automatic lunar station Chandrayaan-3 has transmitted photos of the almost unexplored back side of the Moon.

The images were published on the page of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

The images were taken by the LHDAC camera, which researchers will use to find a safe zone where they can land the spacecraft. Chandrayaan-3 is due to land at the Moon's South Pole on 23 August.

Earlier, the Russian Luna-25 station was supposed to land there as well, but the expensive mission was successfully failed by Russian specialists.

Now Roscosmos is looking for reasons to explain the collapse of the Kremlin's plans.

We remind, on August 19 it became known about the problems with the Russian Luna-25 station, later in the Russian Federation confirmed its downfall. The Russian project was the first in the last 50 years.

The cost of the lunar mission - tens of billions of rubles. The Russians were going to find water on the Earth's satellite with the help of this project.

It is believed that the crash of Luna-25 was a serious image blow to Putin. Now he can no longer claim to be a rival in space, neither with the US nor even with India.
