Barysau Children Centre Employee Beats Boy With Legs

A video of a woman beating a child with her feet during a walk on the playground went viral on the network on August 19. According to the author of the video, all this happened on the territory of Barysau orphanage. "Minsk Prauda" tells the details.

The chief doctor of Barysau specialised orphanage, Sviatlana Dziatko, admitted that she was shocked by what had happened. The woman in the video turned out to be a nurse, working in the institution. She got a job there in May this year.

"The woman really wanted to work here. Before that she worked in a hospital. Her behaviour is a shock to all of us. She explains her behaviour by giving way to temper. She will be dismissed under the article. Such people are not supposed to work with children," Dziatko said.

The chief physician added that the child is fine. He has been examined.

"Today our institution has been visited by the Investigative Committee and the Inspectorate for Juvenile Affairs. All children were examined," she added.

An investigative-operative group has been sent to the Children's Centre, and now the case is being investigated.
