The fan interrupted the first half of the final. He caused the incident by coming on the pitch in the 26th minute.
A fan in a medical mask slipped past security and ended up on the lawn of an arena in Sydney. The man put on a T-shirt with two slogans: "STOP PUTLER" and "FREE UKRAINE". A fan with a political position tried to run up to the leader of the England women's national football team leader but was soon detained by the stewards.
Putler is a neologism made up of the names of the President of the Russian Federation Putin and the German dictator Hitler. The Russian opposition and Ukrainian media began using the word even before the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Gradually, the term became popular in the West.
