BMZ Suspends Recruitment

The company is having serious problems with the loading of metalware shops.

The Belarusian Steel Works is experiencing problems with workload in the metalware workshops. This is reported by the press service of the company, citing the deputy director for social policy and ideological work, Andrei Kulakouski. According to him, recruitment of new personnel has been suspended.

"Unfortunately, the situation is still tense. But work in this direction continues, and the plans for the second quarter include the supply of metalware in certain areas," he said.

It is reported that about 300 workers of the steel wire shop have been transferred to other facilities because of the lack of workload. About 100 workers are undergoing retraining for in-demand professions. Recruitment at the plant has been suspended. Vacancies are being filled with available staff.
