Person Gets Beaten In Svetlahorsk Police Department

This was found out by human rights defenders.

A person was beaten in the Svetlahorsk district administration’s internal affairs department. According to human rights defenders, the victim filed a complaint and a check has been appointed.

The incident occurred in the temporary detention center of the Svetlahorsk district department of internal affairs back in August. The person who was placed there in the framework of an administrative offense case, was beaten by a policeman.

Upon release from the temporary detention center, the victim went to a medical institution, the traces of beating have been recorded in due course.
