Brutal Battle With Heavy Russian Losses: Main Intelligence Directorate Reveals Details Of Landing Of Paratroopers In Crimea

Ukrainian fighters returned after the operation.

A fierce battle took place in occupied Crimea as part of the landing of the Main Intelligence Directorate fighters. The Russians suffered significant losses, and Ukrainian groups have already returned from the special operation.

The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defence Ministry Andriy Yusov told about this in comments to RBC-Ukraine.

"The activities for the de-occupation of Crimea continue. This was an operation of sabotage and reconnaissance nature. It provides for certain activities on the territory and the return of the group back. Our groups have already returned," Yusov told.

According to him, there was a fierce battle as part of this operation. There are many losses among the Russian occupiers.

"Unfortunately, there are also losses among our special forces, but they are not commensurate with the Russian ones," Yusov noted.

He also added that the de-occupation of the peninsula continues.

"Unfortunately, it is not possible without losses. This is, in particular, the price for actually surrendering Ukrainian Crimea without a fight in 2014. Ukraine will definitely return Crimea and all occupied territories," summarised the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate.

We remind, today the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defence Ministry reported that Ukrainian special forces landed in occupied Crimea.

For example, special forces of "Stugna" and "Brotherhood" within the special unit of Timur of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine landed on the territory of the peninsula and inflicted a fiery defeat on the Russian occupants.

Also Main Intelligence Directorate fighters released a video of the special operation on the network.

Not the First Landing of the Main Intelligence Directorate in the Crimea

We would like to add that this is not the first landing of Ukrainian fighters on the territory of occupied Crimea. In particular, on August 24, the scouts managed to make a sortie near the settlement of Mayak on Cape Tarkhankut.

At that time there was a battle within the framework of a special operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate with the participation of watercraft and aviation.

As part of the special operation, at least 30 occupants were killed and four speedboats were damaged.
