AFU Kick Russian Troops Out Of Their Positions: New Maps Of Battles

The Ukrainian army is advancing on Lyman.

As of the 213th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Russian troops continue to unsuccessfully try to regain lost positions in the east and south of Ukraine, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces advance towards Lyman.

This has been reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

The Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully repel the attempts of the invaders to return the lost positions around Kupyansk. Russian soldiers attempted to destroy the dam in the Pechenegs in order to flood from the Seversky Donets River and disrupt logistics on the eastern bank, but their tactics were not successful.

At the same time, Ukrainian defenders are advancing north and northwest of Lyman. Russian propagandists wrote about breaking through their defenses in the area of Karpivka and Ridkodub, but there has been no official confirmation yet.

The occupiers continue to focus their main efforts on regular shelling from rocket artillery along the front line in the area of Bakhmut and Donetsk. The enemy also unsuccessfully tried to carry out a ground assault on Zaitseve and Mayorsk in the Bakhmut region, as well as around Novomykhaylivka, Avdiyivka, Poprosne, and Kamenka in the Donetsk region.

In the south of Ukraine, fighting is also going on along the entire line of confrontation. The invaders organize the defense of the occupied territories, and use UAVs to look for opportunities to strike at Ukrainian positions. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the pontoon crossing in Nova Kakhovka, two clusters of weapons and equipment of the enemy in the Beryslav, Kakhovka and Kherson regions.

Ukrainian soldiers fired on an electronic warfare station near Krutyi Yar and destroyed an enemy missile system “Tor” in the Bashtanka district. A convoy of Russian troops with weapons and equipment in Kakhovka came under Ukrainian fire, and a blow was also struck on the Kakhovka bridge.
