Russia And Belarus Did Not Come To Agreement On 2023 Gas Prices

Belarus and Russia continue negotiations on 2023 gas prices. The agreement on price has not yet been reached. Energy Minister Viktar Karankevich announced this. Last week, he met with Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Alexey Miller.

Karankevich said that the Belarusian side provided the Russians with a proposal for gas prices in 2023, as well as a proposal on the principles of the creation of a united gas market. These principles have been discussed repeatedly.

It should be noted that today Putin will arrive in Minsk on a visit. Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu will be with him. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov unexpectedly arrived in Belarus yesterday.
